hmm.....interesting thread.
i always find it funny when people get angry over immigrants not conforming.
in the united states an immigrant has as much of a voice as someone who was born here. just the way it is. we all have a voice, opinion, and a right to express them. just because someone doesnt speak english doesnt mean they have to. spanish is the 2nd language of the US and i wouldnt be suprised if someday it was the main language.
didnt you hear that for the 1st time the majority of births in california were latino?
since north america is a society built on other cultures doesnt it make sense that our society itself would be constantly changing. just because one culture thinks they are the majority doesnt mean they should get the right to make other cultures conform......

myself, i can trace my ancestry back hundreds of years in this country. im native american and very proud of my culture.
but i certainly dont expect others to speak my language or follow my customs. north america truly is a melting pot of cultures....respect it and allow it to flourish.
