I don't know where designers get the idea of fast easy money from, but everyone else that gets in the biz with the hopes of making a quick buck probably get the idea from all the "bling" they see on our affiliate programs (not mine in particular, but in general), which of course is put there by hired designers in hopes of recruiting some starry-eyed, ambitious entrepreneur to join that program and start making "boatloads of cash" for himself.
