It isn't a question of whether to remove them from power or not, it is a question of when. As their arsenal of available weapons increases, do we simply wait for them to attack immediate targets in their area?
There is a large difference between weapons of mass destruction in despotic regimes as opposed to countries that are attempting to become members of the international community and improve their standard of living (India, Pakistan, China (part of the sino-soviet split was soviet's reluctance to give atomic weaponry to China...China developed them on their own in 1969).
Granted, the Bush administration is not making a good case for a conflict in Iraq; however, that has to do with the complexity of the issues at stake and the stupidity of the general American population (I guess EU as well now).

I thought the EU learned this lesson fifty years ago.
