It's my understanding the main player Akamai refuses to sell to Adult, the next player Limelight does so, but mostly just streaming, and they don't market to the adult industry.

Level3 used to be Savvis, which also didn't. The partnership with L3 is the first time a major CDN provider has teamed up with a company that has a strong connection and trust in the adult market.

This technology is used by most major non-adult websites, but this is the first time Adult can take advantage of it at a price that's realistic to their business needs.
