This is when they (logically) add the sugar while the tea is still hot. I HATE going anywhere north of the Mason Dixon line and asking for sweet tea and they say "I'll bring you some sugar". No, the sugar does NOT MIX WITH COLD TEA! You have to mix it when it's hot THEN let it cool and pour it over ice. Duh.

Oh, and it's not really southern style unless it's so sweet it makes your teeth hurt
