Yeah. Me and some buds get together and jam sometimes. They started in on smells like teen spirit and I really didn't know how to play it. Never tried. My buddy could play it on drums and my guitarist buddy could play it on guitar and bass. He taught me and we all played the song together. That's really how I learned it.
Nutshell is just fun to play on bass. Especially if a buddy knows it on guitar so you can play it together. That's the whole reason I learned how to play it. It sounds great when you have a good guitarist and you're playing it on bass.
