The kid didn't deserve to be taken to the ground, but he did seem like a little shithead and I think getting screamed at a little might do him good. It seems kids of that age these days, especially skaters, have no respect for anyone or anyone else's property. They skate everywhere even though there are signs telling them not to and every handrail in the town I live in has pipe clamps on it so the skate punks won't slide down them.

The kid was a dick, the cop was out of line and the whole thing is a mess.

I doubt, though, that the cop will get fired. Most likely he will have to go to some training and get a written reprimand, but I doubt he will be fired.
