The only reason they are bringing that up is for people to believe we are going in there for a higher reason. If they took the billions they are spending on the war effort and focused it on our own country, our economy wouldnt be sinking deeper and deeper.

Zuh? Who didn't give a shit? The UN has been keeping Saddam contained for the last 12 years with air power and sanctions, all the while he was shooting at our planes. Just because it didn't make the news every night doesn't mean we weren't doing anything. Folks don't hear about 99% of what goes on in the world each day, doesn't mean nothing is happening.
And what is this crap about the economy sinking deeper and deeper? The economy is in a recovery, even the Democrats admit that. Just because stock prices are not at those fraud-based inflated levels of the 90s doesn't mean things are in the shitter.
