I have seen that done MANY times on the wards for real.....
Its usually to see if the urine is 'sweet' to see if the patient has diabetes. The students of course have to try it for themselves.
Its amazing to see these inteligent med students falling for it. They will do ANYTHING the senior Docs tell them.....
