Anyway, I doubt there is anyone who doesn't know what I meant by "Chai" - it is very common in the US, and while the origin of the word is in fact "tea" that is not what it is used to describe when you go in a place and order it. It is simply "Chai"
Chai is not just tea, it is a specific type, and again - this is not the etymology of the word, that is for others with no time. The tea I drank yesterday is simply, Chai Green tea"

When foreigners come at someone not in their region for having different sayings or names for things, it actually makes them look less intelligent in my opinion.
That is what we call Chai here. Which is why I was questioning the "lol" to me.
