When i built my first studio it was in part of a 40,000 .00 sq ft warehouse in Sudbury Suffolk. We bricked off an area 45'-00 wide by 80'-00 to use as the main studio and then added a darkroom store area and models changing rooms.

I agree with the comments about studios always looking the same, so we built a huge rotating platform some 25'-00 diameter and on that built 3 sets, we set up ambient lighting off of the platform so that when we rotated it to a new set we already had basic lighting for each setting. It saved us hours of time.
The platform was made using a huge truck bearing that weighed 200lb and set up rubber wheels around the edge of the platform disk to help support the floor area. Its still there after 20 years so i guess we did a good job ?
