Yeah Peaches, damn those critters.
I even had some habanero and jalapeno sprouts growing indoors, we have one of those big sunny breezeway rooms, and remodeling so a baseboard was removed. And well I discovered field mice, rat sized heathen mice, really enjoy pepper sprouts. And cactus sprouts, plus some houseplants. The rodent got up on the windowsill and massacred a bunch of sprouts as soon as it got cold. I found the trick to that is when you wash your hair, pull some out and stuff little hair balls into the dirt, the smell puts them off. It sounds gross, but it works. No clue about how to deter deer and outdoor animals though with that method.
Serge, I believe AMP was trimming some hedges a while back, and if he is six feet under daisies should be sprouting any day now. The thread is doing great.
