A whole lot of shit does not make sense when it comes to sex and specially age of consent in assorted US states and countries. BTW I was wrong with the military stats, its actually 16 but they can be charged with breaking state laws. I.E. a 30 year old could fuck a 16 year old in many states. Also NY in reality is 15/17 with some legal jargon attached.
