The idea of 'minor' is a concept. It is a concept which needs to be reviewed, as people in the modern world start becoming sexually active at a younger age with each generation.
The western world and U.S.A. in particular is terrified of their own sexual interests. Anything to do with sex is taboo and causes all manner of people to go insane and start quoting religious texts and so on. The same 'objective' people pay to watch videos such as two girls one cup when nobody is observing them. It's a phobia. These people censor themselves to hide the shame of their own desires. Shame which should not exist, and desires which are perfectly natural. Or, desires which are only the result of self-censorship. We want what we can't have. It's a basic and damaging human instinct.
What I'm saying is, that all this self-censorship is utterly insane. Laws preventing minors from engaging in sexual activity doesn't stop the sexual activity, it just makes people feel guilty about it, which then compounds the 'problem' if there is one.
Meanwhile I have lost my train of thought entirely, but what I wanted to say is that the concept of 'minor' should start a lot younger than it does. Not 17 years. Most 17 year olds have been fucking for several years, drinking, having just as many evil thoughts as every other 'adult'. When we censor our own desires, they warp into even more disturbing ones...
