I met him at the dedication of a vet's memorial statue in Little Rock, Arkansas, in 1995 or so.

I walked up after he spoke, introduced myself (as the founder of the Gulf War Vet's of Arkansas), and all he could do is tell me I'd have to take off my sunglasses before he'd talk to me.

I had eye injuries from flash burns, and was wearing the old style 'glacier glasses' to protect my eyes.

I told him that, and he said 'ok fine... next', and turned to the next guy in line.

What a fucking prick.
