actually, you need POI if your credit doesnt match up to the car you purchased. Its common after you sign the paperwork and take the vehicle, the funding dept at the auto lender will spot this and request POI. You can refuse of course, but you WILL lose any downpayment you put down and dont expect to get a vehicle for a while, you will be blacklisted for possible fraud at most all the major auto lenders around the country. Dont flame me, this is what i do for a living. im just a hobby BS webmaster. In some states it can be a "repo" but not in NY where I am. Just black listed. Hope that helps.
