What's up with OneVerify and the insane rules?
Just a little rant.
I've just had sites declined by them for 'advertising' on the tour. The advertising in question was a very small box at the bottom of the warning page with links to filtering software to stop children accessing adult sites. Obviously I make no money from linking to stuff like netnanny of surfwatch. It's 100% there just to inform parents that this sort of stuff is available and that they should really be using it if they have kids.
Why is it that OneVerify don't allow that??? Is it OK as far as OV/TB are concerned for children to wander around porn sites? The rules make perfect sense regarding advertising but rejecting for linking to child filtering software as a warning to parents is plain daft.
Rant over.
