I know these guys and don't think that they are scammers. If I understand it right you didn't finish your work for them. They had to do your work. This means that they are not satisfied with your work. I would write the same thread about you on their place.
Nothing personal, but this thread and the fact that you posted it everywhere tells everything about you. I think you've lost lots of potential clients in this thread.
