I'm not anti-wii. It's a great system. My buddies have them for their daughters and I got one for my parents for Christmas. It's not a system for people who really get into playing games.
It's a dumbed down game system DESIGNED specifically to target the casual gamer. The library of titles is pathetic, aside from a few first party Nintendo titles that have managed to be released, the rest is total garbage. Come on, you can't tell me you want to play games like AMF Bowling, or Carnival Games, or better yet Chicken Shoot...which happens to be a port from a fucking FLASH game.
I think the Wii and it's marketing is brilliant. But when someone says they like playing Battlefield 2012 and the first response is "Hey man, I have a wii...you should get one"...someone has to step in and set things straight.
