I'm heading down there in March for a well-deserved vacation.

Anyone in the area?
I'll be traveling with my 12 year old son, so it'll just be a relaxation trip with no stops at titty bars, hehe. If anyone is in the area and wanting to get together for a little dinner or something, that would be cool.

I'm flying in on the 10th of March and will be there for the week. I'm staying at the Occidental Grand Papagayo.

We're already looking forward to taking one of those zip tours where you go along the zip cord and fly over waterfalls, rain forest, etc.

Anyone been to that area that can recommend places/activities that aren't TOO tourist heavy but will appeal to a 12 year old boy and my inner 12 year old?
