Wow everyone needs to do a little research.
Although his Dad was born a Black Muslim from Kenya, he was not born a "Radial Muslim," where there is a huge difference between the two.
Barack lived in Indonesia for 4-5 years and attended both Muslim and Catholic schools. He attended Muslim schools in Indonesia because the majority of the population is Muslim. Ultimately, he was sent back to the United States to live with his maternal grandmother (who happens to be Caucasian) because his Mom, an Atheist, did not want him to be subject to religion in school.
But his mom did not provide him with no religious upbringing. She raised him with a very well rounded religious upbringing, including Christianity, Buddhism (which so much a religion, but a way to live your life, but that's a whole different topic) and Hinduism.
Obama is a Christian, and has been a member of the United Church of Christ for over 25 years, well before he went the path of politics.
If you go back in any African American/Black person's family heritage (that was not tribal), you'll find the majority came from some type of Muslim decent. Do NOT confuse and use Muslim synonymously with Terrorist.
Lets not forget prior to 9/11, the largest and deadliest act of terrorism on US soil was done by an American WHITE Christian Man, that was a Former US Army Soldier, by the name of Timothy McVeigh~Oklahoma City Bombing.
I just bring up the Oklahoma City bombing to show "Acts of Terror," "Terrorism," "Terrorists," should not be described or characterized by religion, race, color, gender, etc. As all religions, races, etc. are capable of acts of terror.
Short of the long, Barack is NOT a Muslim, but is Christian. So the real question, is everyone attacking Barack Obama because he's not Caucasian?
I will vote for whomever I believe will be the best for the country, regardless of race, gender, color, etc...
And holds true:
"We hold these truths to be self-evident, that all men are created equal, that they are endowed by their Creator with certain unalienable Rights, that among these are Life, Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness."
With all that being said, I still do not know who I'm voting for!
