Obama isn't going to change shit. I never said he was. All these people are the same in the end. They care about getting elected, getting their buddies some power, and appeasing the people who helped make it happen. They'd slit anyone of our throats for a chance at being in the White House. And even if they were the rare breed who actually wants to change things, there is no way Congress or the lobbyists in power would allow it to happen.
And I'm not saying the man is holding down the brothas. I'm saying that it's wrong to blame the problems facing blacks strictly on the type of melanin in their body. There are huge gaps in poverty and education. There is no way that you can overcome those gaps within a few generations when all the power and all the money was in the hands of whites.
Take this for an example. Take the great-great grandson of some redneck hick in Arkansas. Now take the great-great grandson of Bill Gates. Which one is most likely to be succesful? You just can't expect a race that had nothing in this country to make up that gap in the matter of a few generations when power and money play such an influential role in who we become.
