You are correct, no one is born a racist. However, based on many studies, racists tend to have lower IQs, been raised by lower educated parents, and majored in less challenging studies.

As for your comment on age, that is more likely due to the fact that older people lived through more racist times. In fact, back in the 50's it was shown that the average age for racism was 12 years old, with it diminishing greatly upon adulthood. Most likely the reason you see older people more racist is because they grew up under racial tension and heavy prejudice from family. Younger generations grow up in more diverse situations where race is not as much a factor in their lives.
