Not sure on your data here. The age of 41 might be correct, but the Romans being sold into slavery sort of throws me.
My point was that Caesar and Alexander would ride into battle with their men, sometimes in front of them, not wear costume jump suits for cameras (although Caesar probably would have done this had he the ability to grasp the simplicity of the public audience to that extreme at the time) and miss his weekend reserve meetings while snorting cocaine and whoring (as opposed to doing these later things after in celebration).
