You are making the presumption that these people would even bother voting in the first place.
No one here is taking account a possible run by Bloomberg either. If he runs, anyone could win the general election, be they black, female, or pro-100 years war.
Either way, whoever wins is going to be fucked. If you really like a candidate, I'd suggest not voting for them, because then they'll have another shot in 2012.
A lot of damage has been done over the past 5 years (blame Bush
and Greenspan) and the recovery process will be forced and ugly.
