The way I look at it is that I am glad there are cops like my son and his friends out there to make up for the idiots.

Well, if you are a cop, or a social worker (and probably any other job like that) you can get your license number blocked so people can't merely go to the DMV and find out where you live.
I will have one of them put my car down as one they drive.
