Same here. Out of all the galaxies, stars, planets, etc, there has to be something that could sustain life. I think we are too concerned about life forms that need water to survive. The search for life begins with the search for water. There is obviously a possibility that there are life forms which don't require water, light, or the same temperatures to survive as life on earth. But while a searching for a needle in the haystick that is the universe, our focus is best spent by narrowing the search area down to areas with resources we already KNOW sustain life. I would not be surprised at all if a deep probe on Europa or Titan found single cell or even multicellular microorganisms living there...
