If you look at credentials has an edge over Sambo, by a long stretch. Other then Fedor, Aleks and 2 other russian dudes, no one were succesfull in MMA from a sambo background.
MMA as a whole evolves so rapidly, that it's separated itself from specific matial arts and become the ultimate form of martial arts in itself.

Numbnut, that’s the exact point I was trying to make. This whole shit about BJJ fighters is gay.. In MMA competition everyone studies the opponent. If two of you are TOO FUCKING stupid to understand, I’ll give you example from the game that I play.. I play right wing on my hockey team, always played in same position since I was 4 years old.. But I also can play center and defence… had to learn it just incase too many people are out with hangover on Sunday morning..
