The dives i made in the Red Sea where better than in the Caribbean.
No one would ever hurt you in Egypt if you are not from US. I do not know if the native know the difference between english and american.
There should be a water temperature of ~77°F (25°C).
41°F (5°C) is no problem for the balls, too. ;)
