Okay, soldier "A" . spent just enough extra fun time in IRAQ ( pronounced "eeerock" now ...) to watch his buddies head explode like a ripe watermelon at target practice. Maybe he loses a limb because he gets to hangout another year. Soldier "A" isn't coming home intact mentally/physically. He has a higher risk of becoming homeless. Multiply that by thousands. It's no secret Veterans aren't treated very well.
So he has a better chance at avoiding this shit if he's at home. Thus decreasing the homeless population and all the other fun shit that comes with it like post traumatic stress disorder. I don't know the odds but it seems like common sense to me ...
