I'm not trying to sound like a dickhead or anything but you should really stop feeling sorry for yourself. It won't get you anywhere. Sure life may not be easy but it's not easy for anyone. Everyone at one point or another had to go through rough times, and the only way to get out of them is to stand up and fight it, don't point fingers even if they can be justifiably pointed, for every finger you point at someone else there is 4 more pointing back at you.
I'm proud of you, because leaving is the first step for you, you had enough courage to say fuck it, even if it was at your lowest point, that is the first positive to come out of it! Now just start contacting a whole bunch of content shooters & programs etc looking for some work. You may be turned down but eventually you're gonna get someone saying yes! Babe ruth was a legend for the hits he made, but what people don't even care about is that he was also the strike out leader. You strike out in life everyone does, but what people remember in you is those times you got back up and hit a homerun.
You have heart and thats something not a lot of people have these days, you care about the people around you I see that when I talk with you, now it's time to put YOU first. YOU can do it, & you will do it.
