If you believe in God, which ever way the major religions sell him, you believe he created us.
He made sex a pleasure, he made us able to have sex with as many partners as we wished, in and out of a relationship, he made us to look at attractive people and want to have sex with them. He made sex the way we reproduce. What give you the idea he was anti sex?
Now if some old man comes off a mountain and tells me he's been talking to God and God told him sex out of wedlock or for the pursuit of pleasure was fun I have to think he's lying of God screwed up.
As for devout Jews and a few other religions. If God did not like women menstruating he would choose another way to do it. He would not create women this way and then have men tell them they were unclean. Same goes for female circumcision.
Religion is business, big business. It's easier to control scared people who think they are evil than people who think they are right.
I believe in evolution and science and not what some guy wrote in a book and tells me God told him to write.
