I actually do disagree. The Superbowl will be the real test though. Shockey makes a difference in more ways than just an endzone/center field presence. His blocking is valuable, as is his ability to pick up tough yardage.
On the flipside, the loss of Shockey is valuable in a way, as Eli has been forced to step up and look for more than just the 10 yard cut down the middle. I think this is also helping Eli to minimize his picks.
Burress has been in the zone and really stepping up to fill the void. It should be an interesting game in 2 weeks. If the Giants could win, it would be the upset of the century.
