Honestly, horses are horrible creatures. Walking evil.
Big black eyes that don't blink and just stare at you...plotting the next time they bit, step on you or kick you. I've never had a good experience with a horse, and they were big where I grew up, so I gave them plenty of chances.
It's weird, because I'm usually really good with animals. Just horses...and birds. Fuck birds too.
