You could burn through 45k pretty quickly trying to learn this business. If I were you I would start part time, work somewhere to bring in an income to live on and learn an aspect of this business that you want to pursue.
No one cares if you are highly educated and 'tight' (unless you're a chick) here. Can you hustle?
