Paypal for business to business rocks. For a paysite I would think not.
Let me explain why they are good for us, we have been with them a year.
We have become a "Verified" and "Premium" account with them. It took about three months to prove ourselves with them.
As soon as money appears in our account we transfer it to our bank. There are no once a month payouts and no hold backs. They charge 5% for this. They do their utmost to verify that the client holds the credit card he is buying with, if he does not we are told. We are also told the buyers history, as in the number of people he has done business with. Our similar info is also given to the buyer.
Most of the other CC processors call us high risk because we are adult, our history is less than 0.25 in refunds, chargeback or fraudulent cards. High risk? They then go to charge 15% and hold back 10% and not all of them will give you that 10%, if they don't want to.
Our turn over with PP has grown from $250 in the first month to over 100 times that figure in one year. On this the other steal $2,500+ a month (over and above PPs rates) and they hold back another $2,500.
So PayPal is

with us.
