A friend of mine did something like this.
He is a computer networking guy. But... He is good looking. Think Juicy D Links...
So he corresponds and they "fall in love" and he goes out there to meet her and the family. She takes him to all kinds of romantic places and they get it on. Awesome right?
He marries her and moves her here on a condition that her dad can come too. Somehow the dad gets a work visa or some shit and they all live in his house for 5 years. Everything is great!
Until one day he comes home and she is moving a ton of shit out of his house and he is like WTF? She says he doesn't love her and blah blah and basically throws up a smoke screen. She eventually divorces him and marries the guy that owns the place where she is working.
In that 5 year period he went from a lowly computer guy making $60K to building a networking business that makes him $250,000... Guess who got half of all of his shit? He got the house, she got the car she drove, her dads car, the boat and pretty much everything inside the house. He basically had to start all over.
