ya for sure. like i said, my old roommate has been bartending for years now. ever since we graduated and moved to the city. in highschool the guy couldn't get laid for the life of him. after a year bartending, everyone knew him. he got in the clubbing circle and now every scenewhore in town knows who he is. he gets laid by some good looking girls on a regular basis. but when it comes down to it, he can't keep one for a girlfriend without getting fucked around because each and every last one of them is a raging cokewhore, and if you take his ass out of the club scene he can't do shit for himself. there's a whole lot of people in the scene like that and they get stuck there. it's a world where real shallow people who aren't good for much of anything can make themselves feel like something special. i haven't gone to an actual nightclub in close to a couple years now, i grew out of the shallow ass mindset that controls it and moved on. it's just not my scene at all...
