thats why they are in their dilemma, the internet started profiting off of tv and what not a long time ago...

Not planning ahead is part of why they are standing so strong right now. In their last contract they didn't realize how big DVD sales would be so they didn't negotiate for much of a royalty and it ended up costing them. they are not going to make the same mistake on the internet. It may never pan out make them much money, but they aren't taking any chances .The guy heading the negotiations for the union has said he will not be the guy that 10-15 years from now is known as the guy that gave away the internet to the studios.
