Yeah, this is the first house I've really spent that much time on because I want it to be my "forever house". Of course, when I moved here to get away from it all, it all followed me and now there's traffic at lunch and we actually have a rush hour

I've been looking at buying land further out and building the exact same house but with thicker logs and maybe an extra 2 feet along each of the 4 main log walls.
But I DO love the house, the property, the subdivision - just the town is getting too suburbanized.
