AirTran Airways = A+ Customer Service.

Flew back home for the holidays. Weather caused our flight back to L.A. to get canceled.

AirTran hooked us up with a flight out the next morning on a rival airline (they paid for the flight right out of their own pocket - I have the receipt), coughing up for a business upgrade and free drinks. Offered us a room for the night, too.

In addition, gave us round-trip tickets anywhere in the continental U.S. that they fly to be used any time in the next year... for "our inconvenience."


Delta woulda just told us "it's the weather - tough shit, and good luck getting out any time in the next 3 days" Been there, done that.

AirTran just earned themselves a loyal customer any time I fly where they do.
