New service for sponsor programs/need feedback!
Im looking for feedback on a possible new service.
The service would be a pre written script to to allow sponsors to let their affiliates build and submit 2257 compliant free sites and tgp galleries.
The affiliate could choose content and templates, or build their own templates fairly easily with either html code or a WYSIWYG format, depending on their level of expertise. Im thinking of letting the sponsor turn off this option in case they worry about what the affiliates will get upto! They can then either choose link lists and tgps to submit to from the ones already loaded into the system, or add their own, or a combination of the two.
This would allow affiliates to actually submit 2257 compliant "free hosted galleries" and add recips as demanded by the tgps and link lists, without too much effort. Sponsors could help affiliates to increase clicks and sales by providing templates that will actually work and are not full of mistakes.
The initial problem I see is that the gallery and free site templates will get over exposed particularly with larger sponsors, but we could possibly work with designers who could update the templates for them for a fee. I could even employ some out sourced webmasters to just build templates for clients.
Because of 2257 it would have to be hosted on a domain owned by the sponsor. But I could provide a dedicated server to suit the needs of the sponsor as part of the overall package.
So if the pricing was right, and a leading industry lawyer confirmed that it was 2257 compliant, would something like that be of use? Im interested in hearing from both affiliates (would you use it if a sponsor offered it) and sponsors.
