It's always been a battle.... No question about it that starting my company in 2002 was a very late entry into the hosting arena, I think if there were any windfalls in this sector that they were long before we came along.
I think that what we will continue to see by many hosts is a "race to the bottom" with pricing, driven by most host's inability to gain new clientele at margins that actually contribute to healthy growth and proper service delivery. As has always been the case, this eventually catches up to hosts and results in short sales/acquisitions or in worst case scenarios insolvency.
