MMORPGs SHOULD take YEARS to "beat" considering there is NO BEATING an MMORPG - you are paying for entertainment through content, the content being the game content. Expansions new dungeons etc, are all no different than porn site subscriptions. If you want access to the content, then you keep your subscription open. Wow, what a concept HUH?? ... some guys have porn site memberships for YEARS to the SAME SITE. Personally i think those guys have problems... ;)

People like me cant stand console games because I want to fight other players, NOT crappy Artificial Intelligence mobs that take no skill to kill... playing OTHER players takes skill. Killing Koompas dont...

You assume too much, considering I am 31 - and I dont play with kids - you are incorrect to assume that I think the core player is 13 years old. I play with real life family members too... again this makes me think you assume the core member is 13. I, know too well the money gaming industry spends trying to change the "gamer" image from a fat nerdy kid, to a college guy-dad type. That image is dead, gaming is a billion-dollar industry. Fat kids dont make that wheel turn... adults do.

Fact is, the end-game content is probably too difficult to do with 13 year olds because it takes too much communication between players. 13 year olds only know how to "OMGrs HAZZorz" speak and there are millions of adults who play WOW, just as we played Starcraft and Diablo. Geez, Diablo was more addictive than WOW lol

you want to play, pay. Your subscriptions keeps the servers up - keeps the hard-working dev team at work on new content and it works smooth when you log on. THAT is what you are paying for. CONTENT, ENTERTAINMENT.
