when i worked at a live video chat company back in '99 we had ppl who were addicted to this like crack. and when they wanted to get more than the daily limits we'd have them fax in scans copy of id's that were signged, copy of their cc card front and back, and a letter telling us to let them charge more. this one guy was there for a while, used amex and wasn't a long time customer, maybe 2-3 months. about 4th month he does $30k and wants to charge it back. so we sent the info to amex and they made him pay. i would imagine they got sick of shit like that.
