I suggest you go revisit history, especially 1968. We survived that. MLK and RFK both shot. RFK would have beat Nixon. The 1968 democratic convention riot. Not to mention all the other riots going on. Viet Nam War. Constant protests. Racial strife. A generation of young fuckups getting high on pot and LSD. If ther ever was a year after the Civil War where this country was going to tear itself a part this was it.
