It depends on the situation
First you assess it.

In this situation, for example, The guy in the vid had what, a 2 inch blade?
He look wrecked, possibly drunk although most likely on drugs therefore a complete lack of co-ordination.

Not to mention only being about 5ft tall with a weight of about 100-120 pounds at the most.

If you walked up beside him and kicked him in the throat or straight in the face and hard, i don't think he's going to feel like getting up on his feet any time soon.


Now if he was 7ft tall and 400 pounds and was waving around something bigger like a sword or a machete then yes you stand back and watch.

There are certain times to step in and take matters in to your own hands if you can and that was one that needed taking control of.

The woman could have been alot better off if one of the public put the boot in sooner rather then later instead of just giving him the sly kick in the side.
They looked like a couple of 3 year old girls trying to kick a football for the first time.
