Bryan must've just been having fun while exaggerating a lot. There's no reason anyone would have to go to all that effort, and take such a loss to go into the office to ban someone that really doesn't matter that much.
He would've just waited until the next moment he was already in the office and handled it then. It's just not that urgent.
