The problem with your point of view is that many here (including lurkers) have been ARS affiliates for many years, from pre-2000 days (including myself), NONE of whom have had to be "handled" like this. Why? Simple... because none have acted like this guy has. Most if not all would have the sense to talk over a concern with the program first
before taking it to the boards. Issues like this read a whole lot differently once you've done all you can do in private first, but the problem there is that it's usually not as drama-worthy then.
It's not about ass-kissing, it's more about seeing an issue for what it is, in this case minusonebit again shooting his mouth off and getting his ass handed to him. Period.
You do have one thing right... the first line in your post -- "I don't get it"
