I have an old 20gb Ipod and I have a 4gb Sansa and the sound is the same. the Sansa is nice but the software isn't working well for me. I've been ripping with Itune and then drop&drag to the Sansa .I still can't get it to load up Vids. I also have a Knock Off Ipod shuffle (2gb) I use it for the gym and its great ..i get them for like $12 ..lol
